This is a great movie: Rules of Attraction, The I saw a while ago, when he first arrived, but never had the time to post a review. What aroused my interest was that my local Wal-Mart had earlier. So I sat with him and saw a second time. I had forgotten how much I love this thing !!!!! It is full of camera tricks and so many great performances surprising dialogue and especially James Van Der Beek and Russell Sams !!!!! I totally recommend this to anyone who is willing to take a chance with the films! I loved it so much because it is only unbeleavable! Just to see it to understand! Bate American Psycho garbage !!!!!! Think there is no God in this !!!!!!!!! Pat Bateman If you see that and I personally recommend three films: Requiem for a Dream, "O", and Cruel Intentions (although none as good as this movie). You have to see it !!!!!!! It comes out Tuesday to buy on DVD and VHS for rent! You have to buy it on DVD or rent it on VHS! Believe me it will not be DISSAPOINTED! |
This Rules of Attraction, The movie is bleak as hell, but also entertaining. Extremely effective in delivering the horror of evil desire and subsequent unrest, "The Rules of Attraction" features powerful performances from all of its directors. Roger Avary infatuation with the strange issue for their own sake and with drug refers gone wrong can be irritating, but overall, this is an excellent treatment of the pursuit of unhappiness. 'Tis not recommended, however, for those suffering from alcoholism or severe clinical depression - it may very well need a drink (or worse) after seeing this picture. |
This Rules of Attraction, The movie shocked me from the beginning. I thought this Rules of Attraction, The film was going to be like every other stupid, young people and teenagers insipid films that are forced to watch all the time. But I was surprised to see that this was not one of them. This DVD movie Rules of Attraction, The exceeded them. James Van Der Beek (TV "Dawson's Creek") and the beautiful Shannyn Sossamon leads are this funny, but disturbing film. Originality reminds me of "Pulp Fiction" and "Go." Has this Rules of Attraction, The film two thumbs up and 4 1 / 2 stars. |
Why James Van Der Beek was released, I do not know! To me, that ruined everything that could have been remotely good about this movie! Seriously, do not waste time. 2 gave me my vote, simply because there is a good photograph. |
I liked this Rules of Attraction, The movie and I liked Bret Easton Ellis' book, you can feel a kind of flash-back in some scenes that recalled his student days, or even some people who've met.The characters are well-translated books, and there Good acting James Van Der Beek, Shannyn Sossamon and Ian Somerhalder. Sometimes, the Rules of Attraction, The film becomes a comedy, sometimes dramatic, but always makes you stay in your seat thinking about the next thing you see. For the technical aspects, I must say that this is the first time I rewind the use of the camera to get a different view, another person who was at the scene and noticed havent't. You can also feel some Pulp Fiction "makes vou" in the letter of credit, which makes you think that Roger Avary was more important in the DivX film Rules of Attraction, The that Tarantino had thaught. Thinking that some of the youth is reflected in this movie: drugs, sex, materialism, the need for funny ... Sometimes it makes you feel good, sometimes not, but ... who said the reality is always good for us? My vote is 8 of 10 |
