| I take my youngest daughter to the movies every Friday night, along with another father and his girlfriend. The films are chosen to be kid friendly. and 'RV'was selected. Tonight, the father of another friend was with us. The adults were resigned to a two hours of tedium shot, but - surprise! Surprise! - It turned out to be a little fun. Nobody can be confused with Citizen Kane, but I was happy, fun, and not at all boring. Clearly, there is a paycheck DivX Movie RV for everyone involved - but they are all solid professionals to deliver the goods. I was particularly concerned that Kristin Chenoweth, Broadway star, was in the cast. En had a good time with this RV movie is really all I ask on Friday night. The whole case makes a version of "Route 66" in the closing credits, worth to stay. |
| In 'RV' Robin Williams plays Bob Munro, a business executive who is trying to contact his family. Problem is, it is cooler and is out of touch. Suddenly, he has a family vacation plans to Hawaii Colorado, one that could lose their jobs. So the idea is to rent an RV and go driving, and that is where the fun begins. It is refreshing to see Robin Williams in the comedy seat. He is truly the life of this film. Unfortunately, it is probably the only fun in a movie. I can not say it's good, it's like 'family holiday' meets' cheaper by the dozen 2. Not entirely original, but there are some moments of fun with the RV. I did like the Gornickes (Jeff Daniels and Kristin Chenoweth), were a bit unbelievable, but having a good report with Robin Williams. I believe that Robin Williams and Jeff Daniels should do more projects together. |
| Robin Williams is like a spastic squirrel with Tourette's syndrome. It is a pity that a large release of a Turd as this is equal to box office hit. All members of the cast must have received their money in the toilet as the producers left the hotel room. I can not believe that Robin Willims could be more unfunny. He makes Robert Kline apparently George Carlin. Robin has replaced Jerry Lewis as the person who is more out of touch with what is funny. On the positive side, I think the French are by Robin a croissant in his walk of fame. Is this really Cheryl Hines desperate to work in films. The only thing that could make this movie: RV worse would be if Paris Hilton is and try to be dramatic, and she consoled Cykes Wanda wears a thong and looking for a Brazilian wax. This RV Comedy is not only a complete waste of time and space to play, would have been better if they just ran the trailer at a continuous loop of 90 minutes. |
