In a distant galaxy eons before the creation of the mythical planet known as Earth, vast civilizations have evolved, and ruling the galaxy is an interstellar Empire created from the ruins of an Old Republic that held sway for generations. It is a time of civil war, as solar systems have broken away from the Empire and are waging a war of rebellion. During a recent battle techical schematics for a gigantic space station, code named The Death Star, have been unearthed by Rebel spies, and a young woman who is a dissident member of the Imperial Senate, under the cover of a diplomatic mission to the planet Alderaan, is trying to smuggle these plans to the Rebellion. But her spacecraft is attacked by a vast warship of the Empire and seized. The dissident Senator is captured, but the plans for the Death Star are nowhere to be found. While soldiers of the Empire search the nearby planet Tatooine, a series of incidents sweeps up a young desert farmer with dreams of being a fighter pilot in the Rebellion, as he winds up with the Death Star plans and also the assistance of an elderly hermit who once served as a warrior of an ancient order whose chosen weapons were powerful energy swords known as light sabers. The pair recruit a cynical interstellar smuggler and his outsized alien copilot with an ancient freighter heavily modified for combat to help them reach Alderaan - but the planet is obliterated and now the foursome must rescue the young woman held prisoner by the Empire and lead an attack by the Rebellion against the Death Star before it can annihilate all hope of restoring freedom to the galaxy.

This film, along with the original trilogy, I was blown away! It truly has all the elements you need a good story. The characters have sales throughout the tail to his memory, because they are so great! The story revolves around young Luke Skywalker, a farm boy who wants more adventure in your life. Adventure comes to him in the form of two robots, sent by Princess Leia, a beautiful woman begging someone named Obi-Wan Kenobi for help. Leia is a big part of the Rebel Alliance, a group of people determined to stop the Empire's reign of terror and evil. When Luke meets Obi-Wan, was ready to deliver within the robot plans to Leia's father, plans that could stop the most destructive weapon ever to destroy any planet that stands forever. Teaming up with a cocky pilot who is more careful of what allows the so-called Han Solo and Chewbacca the CoPilot (big dog / monkey / bigfoot like creature) the heroes are thrust into an adventure beyond dreams Lucas, a heroin , henchmen, space ships and battle more menacing villain DivX film Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope has ever seen. Star Wars is a Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope Sci-Fi movie you do not forget that soon after viewing. Is full of enthusiasm, humor, romance (more on the ESB, the sequel), the dialogue is a great danger, and never boring fight between good and evil. I recommend the trilogy to anyone and everyone who has not seen (that is ... 3 people ... do not worry, however, I have also recently become a fan!) Han Solo rocks! George Lucus is one of the smartest men in the world. Star Wars is easily the best film: Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope of the original trilogy. This Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope Sci-Fi has everything, suspense, action, unanswered questions, and one of the coolest actors ever. Of course, I'm talking about Harrison Ford. There are a lot of people underestimate the original because it leaves you with many mysteries as why Obi-Wan die? But by now people should know the history well enough to respect the former. Great acting is really the core of the first Star Wars. Ford is unquestionably the face of the franchise. Without him as a smart mouth Han Solo, Star Wars would not be what it is today. Luke Skywalker played by Mark Hammil as cool enough to be a hero, but only enough to make you want fruity vomit. The story is good, action is better. Star Wars, one of the greatest films in history.

Rated PG for violence The Star Wars saga is one of (if not more) popular saga there.The first movie: Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope came out in 1977 and since then has been a lot of fans who go so far as to dress and wait in line for days when the sequels come out.In my opinion I think the original trilogy Star Wars (Episodes 4,5 and 6) are best.Episode 1 was a disappointment, Episode 2 Episode 3 is better and was closer the original three. Special effects can be dated as of today, but back in 1977, it was just a villain amazing.Darth Vader is very cool as well.The DivX Movie Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope is basically about a farmer named Luke Skywalker, with the assistance of a princess called Princess Leia, a pilot of Han Solo, Obi-Wan, a former Jedi knight, two robots R2D2 and C3P0 name (found in all six Star Wars movies) and Chewbacca, Han Solo WOOKIE friend, who must destroy Darth Vader's death star.Star Wars is a highly entertaining science fiction film, and if you have not seen (that is in the minority) should be!

I have been reading some comments on this film: Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope that some people have been put on and frankly, I am not happy. I know there are a lot of flaws in this film, but so what? This is still a great movie. I have read comments about how the special effects, and sucks. This only shows how ignorant some people are. The special effects in this Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope Sci-Fi were revolutionary. George Lucas basically founded modern special effects in this film. If it were not for Star Wars is probably not LOTR. Which brings me to the next topic. I read someone compare it with Star Wars LOTR. Commented on how kind of Star Wars Obi Wan booted using Gandalf. Wrong! Gandalf and Obi Wan are both inspired by the "wise old" template. That's right, I hate to break to Gandalf, but it was not the original "old sage". If George Lucas has never made the Star Wars then you probably would never have begun ILM (Industrial Light and Magic). Which have delayed the special effects in movies for decades. Without that there would be no Star Wars LOTR. I'm not saying I do not like because I love LOTR. The comparison of the films Star Wars and LOTR is how the authors compare Tolkien and Robert Jordan. It simply should not be done. I think Star Wars is a great Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope Sci-Fi movie and deserves to be in the top ten. So before you try and comment on how bad this movie: Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope is trying to realize that special effects in the movie: Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope industry would be if it were not for this movie.

Star Wars, now known as Star Wars Episode IV, is a great classic. It's incredible how even took place after all these years. It tells the story of Luke Skywalker, a poor farm boy who, after meeting former Jedi master Obi-Wan Kenobi, he began the greatest journey of his life. Goes against the evil empire and Darth Vader, who has a past with Obi Wan. Not a lot happens in this original Star Wars, but he revolutionized the science fiction films, as we know, the fight with spaceships, laser guns, holograms and communication. Acting and writing is not the greatest there ever, but does not stop the Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope movie from being completely enjoyable. Star Wars all the attention it deserves and receives the money it makes from books, video games, TV shows, toys, and the following sequels. Star Wars will forever remain a classic, but critics continue to ignore the creativity of George Lucas. 8 / 10
