A meditation on isolation and intersection in the big city - the layered story of three characters who find courage to move to the next stage of life through profound encounters with strangers they meet on their daily routes. When an elderly patient, a painter losing his eyesight, begins to visit her office unannounced, Rose registers how alone he is, urging him to reach out and ask for help—something neither does easily. Meanwhile Simon, a late-blooming teenager with an overbearing mother, photographs people at a distance with a borrowed long lens. One day, Rose, beautiful and melancholy in a vibrant scarf, comes into focus in his camera sight. I liked this movie. The movie: Adrift in Manhattan has been playing this relationship between Heather Graham and character of the young woman obsessed with his capture in pictures. At first, I was afraid it was stalking limit, and I was waiting for something bad to happen to the couple. Gradually, the boy's pictures reveal something deep and personal character of Heather Graham. When they finally meet, the result is amazing. All the players put in good performances, especially Heather Graham. If you like character-driven film, then this DVD movie Adrift in Manhattan will be of interest to you. I also like the pace of the film. Is slow and methodical. Often, films with stories in a hurry, but it takes time.

Although generally the interest in finding an interlaced story lines from movies like Magnolia or accelerated or Babel, I could not get my interest in it. Now I am not here to complain that the DVD movie Adrift in Manhattan has no explosions, action or a series of plot twists - not meant to be that type of movie. The few plot-driven elements are quite rare and most are there to drive the characters rather than history. The story itself is never planned focus anyway. It is thanks to my attention that some have greater involvement in the plot have been made the work of a service. In terms of performance (acting, directing) effort is undoubtedly strong but never truly stellar: not find anything really worth seeing the Adrift in Manhattan Drama movie itself. The problem, therefore, is the model on which rests the implementation, and as I mentioned earlier, the material that is too dry to make the Adrift in Manhattan movie a memorable experience. It is simply not enough going on here to make this worth the look. Nothing much has been achieved, and the trip itself was not exactly thinking and fun. Not terrible mind that only very forgettable.

The director of the quietus on deftness and deep story telling actually moves in this film. I thought and felt the heart of all the love the characters and especially the connections of the beautiful love story between young couples and Isabel Tommaso really killed me ... The relationship has Oeudipal son wih his mother was also totally credible. Is a DVD movie Adrift in Manhattan in New York and thank God for that. Such an intersection of lives voyeurisitc view. In the great city that never stops. Love, death, suffering, to think, to live. Now I'm totally obsessed with this Mexican American Alfredo de Villa and we hope that this next film. Just saw his other DivX film Adrift in Manhattan Sundnace Washington Heights and the new artist should be torn screenshot beautiful and most importantly wamrly. Living the indie movie: Adrift in Manhattan and excellent work!

I liked the movie. Not expecting much and was pleasantly surprised by the story, characters and development. It is one of the films that does not give enough information about the characters (on purpose) so that leaves you with questions and wanting more. Among the relationship between the characters is extremely light, so that usually really annoying feature added to this film. Some of the features of the DivX Movie Adrift in Manhattan are a bit disturbing, but I feel strange enough to prevent most people from enjoying the film. To me it means a 7 and I certainly see it again. Just not be very happy to have paid $ 10 to see it.
