| I first saw when he was less than ten and not scared at all. In fact I loved it, but because it was on TV I forgot about it for a long time. I recently rediscovered the Return to Oz movie and even as an adult still love it. Yes, the Return to Oz movie is considerably darker the wizard, but in my opinion, is a better and more interesting story. In light of the violence in movies today do not think that is out of the question of allowing ten years of age to see if you are a teenager or older, no doubt, I recommend this movie. If you find Wizard of Oz too cutesy for your taste you may be pleasantly surprised by this DVD film Return to Oz underestimated. |
| Back to Oz was the first horror film: Return to Oz I've seen, and I love it so much today as I did when I was 5. Yes, I do believe in Return To Oz is a horror, but that children should see. horror is just like the brothers are bleak horror. because all the horror in the eyes of a child can be very frightening. and yes, I think this horror is better than The Wizard of Oz, despite all my contempories you can believe. as a child, I could not get over the fact the Judy Garland was too old, that does not stop singing and dancing. Come on, this was my childhood, I needed a good career, not a lot of eye candy and disturbing Munchkin voices. dorothy short walk down a hallway of the decapitated head adorned showcases in fear that she may wake up, the decapitated body that come in search of her in her terrifying Gothic splendor this time has remained with me, I was scared, but I'm glad I experienced, is healthy for a child to be afraid, humility is something that everyone needs to embrace, and this horror Return to Oz Mystery with its lush and build up to a climax as phenomenal as apocolyptic still inspires me to something stupid all parts hammy emotion and the Wizard of Oz, can not do. Return to Oz is a lost masterpiece, terrifying, energetic, creative and wonderful. |
| When I was a kid, I was totally captivated by a 1939 Return to Oz film by the name of "The Wizard of Oz." I am now 19 years and I have just finished their follow-up to see me as the best of both. A lot of people will disagree with me, but whatever. The good thing about this Return to Oz Mystery film is that it combines a lot of different genres in history. Fantasy, Mystery, Family, Adventure, Action, Horror, and even some elements of play impressive role in this film. Another advantage is that it is not a musical. Sorry, but I am not a big fan of music. Make your car a favor, sit down and see this movie. I promise you will not be disappointed. |
| I thought this Return to Oz film was not bad, but not one of my favorites. I thought Wizard of Oz is the best. I knew that some of the characters. Piper Laurie knew who played Auntie Em. It seemed as if the film: Return to Oz gets bored. She did not seem happy and full of life. In other films that had a great sense of humor. Some of the characters OK. Auntie Em in the Return to Oz Mystery film never believe Fariuza Balk played Dorothy who was a place called Oz and Dorothy, when told about a key that had landed on the farm. He had picked it and ran straight to Auntie Em. Auntie Em, but said it was just an old key that was his home. So Auntie Em was sent to see a doctor because he thought he was going mad.Everybody in the movie, but his friends thought I was crazy and Dorothy thought it was silly. I thought the film: Return to Oz was not as good as Wizard of Oz and the characters were different. I did not expect the characters to be different. What I was not there was a bad witch who kept taking the lead in women and also Jack Punkinhead and was not in The Wizard of Oz, but I thought that people who played well, but they were the characters was not what what they expected. The Return to Oz movie is suitable for small children. They enjoy, but I do not like it. Gail |
