Connor Macleod was born in 1518 in the Highlands of Scotland. The original was an excellent movie. The flashbacks, action, music and, of course, history itself ... everything's great for the hearing. The sequels to complete and utter nonsense. I'm happy that I can separate the aftermath of the original in my mind. However, they were so bad that this implies a certain degree of mental discipline. Fortunately, I meditate on a regular basis and I am very skilled in certain blocking out traumatic memories. As far as I'm concerned the story begins and ends with the original. If you're thinking of seeing the aftermath please do not do himself. Do not inflict your memory of the original Highlander film of this potentially fatal wound. Watch Highlander and take it for what it is.
