Topper Harley is found to be working as an odd-job-man in a monastery. The CIA want him to lead a rescue mission into Iraq, to rescue the last rescue team, who went in to rescue the last rescue team who... who went in to rescue hostages left behind after Desert Storm. The president is Tug Benson, who also likes to be in on the action. Basically, it's a send-up of all the big shoot-em-up Rambo/Robocop/T2/ Commando type movies.

This sequel to the first Hot Shots! the DVD movie Hot Shots! Part Deux has a different this time: no sense, Rambo-style action movies. Topper Harley (Charlie Sheen) is doing some work for the monks in the far east, and has been hired to lead a rescue mission in the Persian Gulf. For some reason, after seeing both this and the first DivX Movie Hot Shots! Part Deux on Sunday, I really enjoyed this one more (perhaps because I have not seen a few times). The goal is certainly worthy of some lampooning, and the cast is a pleasure to see again. Lloyd Bridges is, once again, hilarious as "Tug" Benson, who, despite being clearly a kind of idiot, he managed to get elected President of the United States. Trivia note: Ryan Stiles, who plays "Lewis" in the Drew Carey Show "and is a regular in the comedy series who improved Line Is it Anyway? Rabinowitz plays in this film, and was also the first film, playing the ominous "Mailman" Farnham. You never know who will pop up where. I gave him eight out of ten.

It is amazing how much this DivX film Hot Shots! Part Deux is fresher and play compared to most other parody of the 90s. It is a reminder (which may be necessary after seeing films like "Dracula: Dead and Loving It") that any gender can work with the amount of effort put into it. Perhaps it has a few duds here and there, but there is much more surreal gems along the way ( "Geronimoooo". "Geronimoooo". "Meeeee!"). One of the best in its class. (***)

Minor spoilers The sequel is great! Charlie Sheen was very good and so was the great Lloyd Bridges! The great Richard Crenna does it all again in the comedy awesome! I give credit to Sheen.I not know if he really built his body or what, but it seemed impressive! The Hot Shots! Part Deux War film is so hilarious scenes.The a chicken with the arrow is just crazy! The sound effects in the movie: Hot Shots! Part Deux sound more legit that the films in a serious example of this is staged in the fighting and that Thailand is my favorite part of the movie! Sheen puts in a good performance as Rambo spoofy Topper Harley and if you like the first Hots! look at this and if true love Rambo films starring Sylvester Stallone and Richard Crenna and can not get enough of them and have not seen Hot Shots! Two, this Hot Shots! Part Deux War movie is a great alternative for you!
