The last time we saw Evan Baxter (Steve Carell), he was being tormented by rival Bruce Nolan onscreen, live from their Buffalo TV station. But as time passed and Evan has made up with Bruce, he's gone onto bigger and better things. Newly elected to Washington D.C. as a congressman, Evan has left Buffalo, New York in pursuit of a greater calling. But that calling isn't serving in the illustrious ranks of America's politics, but being summoned by the Almighty himself (Morgan Freeman), who has handed Evan the task of building a new ark, much as Noah did before. With time passing by and his family belittled by Evan's newfound realization, Evan will have to do the work that God has given him in what promises to be an unusual adventure for a man who just wanted to serve his country, might actually be serving humanity.

The biggest problem with this DVD movie Evan Almighty is that nothing like Bruce Allmighty. The first DivX Movie Evan Almighty played Daydreamer in each of the fantasy of being able to control the surrounding area as one sees fit. Evan though the experience is completely different. He has control of any of that stupid Jim Carrey in every place and the story focuses on the power of conviction. Now, this would have been good since the first Evan Almighty Comedy film was preaching the same message. The problem is that the sequel is not preaching to the detriment of the comic relief. And to add insult to injury, also launched in politics in the plot. You get the distinct feeling that there is a clear message with this DivX Movie Evan Almighty and its main purpose is not to laugh. To end this film: Evan Almighty is not the mix of Eddie Murhphy "The Sir" and Charlton Heston in "The Ten Commandments." I'm not sure if Steve Carrell is at fault here, you get a sense that his character is limiting its capacity as a comedian, the former news Evan Baxter is not supposed to be funny, it's basically a fact in an antagonist protagonist in this case only adds to the confusion of what message this film: Evan Almighty is supposed to be about.

This DVD film Evan Almighty was a little better than I thought. Steve Carroll was fun as usual. The animals were cool too. Some of them are real, but many of them were generated by computer. I thought that the DVD film Evan Almighty sent a good message. While household spending is important and that is what God was trying to teach Baxter. I liked the part that Evan could not cut their hair or beards, and tunics Moses added to the end. I have to take some praise but floating around the chest but Washington DC. That was just silly. Wanda Sikes get some shirts too good. FINAL VERDICT: More geared for children. It's good to see once, but not enough for more displays.
