| It is strange to see a man dressed as a woman always seems to be fun and popular with the public. Milton Berle helped make television, with parodies of such principles of the 1950 show. It also works in this case, Dustin Hoffman applying makeup and role of the grip. Hoffman is helping Jessica Lange, for now, their role more attractive. I'm not particularly a fan of her but she seemed spectacular here, almost like Marilyn Monroe. It was a popular film, because the mood is good and both drivers did a good job, and people like a good story of romance, too. Hoffman, like him or not, is a fabulous, capable of playing many different roles. It is an amazing actor. Sometimes overlooked is the large cast of names that includes support for Dabney Coleman, Teri Garr, Bill Murray, Geena Davis and CHARES Durning. The latter is making his screen debut here! This is not as "nice" as it was 25 years ago but justified a little beaten again in the early 80s. |
| This Tootsie Romance film just has to be one of the greatest comedies ever made. It hilirious. Very difficult to fight and work with the actor Michael Dorsey (Dustin Hoffman) assumes the role of a woman in a soap opera days, basically because they can not get jobs as a male actor because of his reputation. The fun starts from the beginning in the DivX Movie Tootsie with Dorothy Michaels listed on the New York crowd and suddenly going to read the script. Since then the DivX Movie Tootsie is sentimental, touching, and absolutely dry side splittingly funny. Other actors / actresses in the DivX film Tootsie actually do the work. Cast is brilliant moments of comedy, Teri Garr, Dabney Coleman, Charles Durning and the great Bill Murray and always sarcastic. I was not even born until two years after the Tootsie film came out, but remains as fresh and full of life after 22 years that you just have to love him. It's definitely one of five stars for that. | Although the movie: Tootsie is Hoffman (and he is very good), Jessica Lange steals the show as Julie. Charles Durning adds another great performance to this growing gallery Lange and old. Terri Garr is bearable for a change and there are a lot of interesting features performances, especially by the director Sydney Pollack. 7 out of 10. Best performance = Jessica Lange. A comedy that has not dated (Bill Murray is also exceptional). I can not imagine anyone not enjoying this story from New York. Hoffman deserves his Oscar nomination, and I am pleased to support Lange won an Oscar since losing mess Streep rather than win for France. |
| It is more than a Tootsie Romance movie about a man in drag is more than just a great movie. This DivX Movie Tootsie shows that Dustin Hoffman is the best playing in the so-very different characters. Whether your unforgettable character in Rainman or Michael Dorsey / Dorthy Michael in this, Dustin is at his best when playing someone different, someone who is not your average person. This Tootsie Romance movie will make you laugh, that's for sure, but also will make you rethink about the things that really make you happy in your life, something that very few of us think about ... Almost never. |
| Wow! What a movie: Tootsie anyone who has seen this Tootsie Romance film no doubt agree with me that this film: Tootsie touches you in so many different places. It's funny, sad, but also attractive to many people. Dustin Hoffman is excellent in it, so Jessica Lange is the way to act together on the set is very fun, but when alone, is always an emotional scene. Especially the scene in which Julie (Lange) throws a glass of champagne at him when he attempts to reach her at a party, is so funny. Murray is also good that the mixed-up flat mate Hoffman. The director Sydney Pollack also has a small role as an agent of Hoffman unsuccesfully he tries to find work. The viewer sees the struggle of all people in their daily lives. There is also a touch of romanticism in the FIM for sentimentals in this world. All the team bond together to create a fun and imaginative Tootsie Romance movie that is suitable for anyone in the mood for a laugh or cry. I thouroughly recommend it! |
