| I saw this film: 100 Feet at a festival in Germany and its really not a bad scene of horror. Marnie Watson (Famke Janssen) is released from jail but must serve the remainder of his sentence under house arrest. This is the same house where he killed her in self-defense, her husband, police officer Mike Watson (Michael Paré). Plot wise this DivX film 100 Feet is a little flat. No explanation for all events that occur in this film. Shanks seems very strange to have an interest in Marnie. To the point of parking outside their house and see its day and night. But there is no real reason for this is a hunch that it might not kill Marnie Mike. The general was well enough and I like this part Janssen played well. Although I thought she was very quiet given the circumstances. Directed by Eric Red, who knew very little. In reviewing, it seems he has made other films, things like Cohen and Tate, and has written a number of credits. There are some pretty good scenes in this film, a type of jump a few moments, but nothing really scary. There are quite a horrible scene in the room when the ghost of Mike has an aversion to the new Marnie beauty. The effects were good, although a little more dramatic to the end. This is a Horror / Suspense, but I would say is tilted more to the horror genre that Thriller. It could have been more police along the route, and there are enough plot lines to create a decent police. Overall this is a nice movie: 100 Feet that held my interest, but left me asking more questions than answers. |
| By far one of the best works of this year "Screamfest 08," Eric Red "100 meters" is a young woman, Marnie Watson, is granted early release from his prison sentence for manslaughter (killing her husband - a New York police violence - in self defense) on condition that use an electronic ankle bracelet and remain within their home, effectively under house arrest for the remainder of his sentence. Her late husband, the couple keeps tabs on his patrol car parked on the street, in the hope that he violated parole and can send back to jail. But the 100-foot radius ankle bracelet allows is not the worst of its problems. Her husband died - now a malevolent ghost - is still in the house, where he died - intent on savage revenge. The action, stories and moments of fear are nothing less than excellent. With terrific performances by Marnie Watson and Bobbie Cannavale, this ghost story is that you can not lose. | Lets say that Famke Janssen does a great job acting in this film! She can pull the initiative roll. Where mediocre special effects and the story was a bit weak. However, as a ghost / spirit 100 Feet Horror with a limited budget, was impressive. 100 feat is scary, but still a little sad, because everyone gets back, and she has to return to live their beating again. And I must say, that should be: Horror, thriller and drama. Soooo, I have to give it a 7. Well-written the 100 Feet film and its role seems realistic if you know what I mean. | The movie: 100 Feet had potential, but as it goes on and develops the story, it tends to be a bit boring and scares and chills just not there. The alleged ghost of the husband of Famke character, Marnie not deliver emotions. I've seen a lot scarier in real life that made a vague image of CGI rotted some dude trying to kill his wife. Another thing that seems a bit strange was the premise of a ghost that can hurt physically and Ed Westwick in the case of killing a human being. Now, I am not at all supernatural, but I am sure that the ghosts can not. Are dead, can not kill people when they are dead, that's just nonsense. Famke Janssen, a big-budgeted 100 Feet movie X-Men play an iconic comic book character has been reduced to playing battered housewives in horror films low budget. Such a shame really. |
