| Established in the late 60s, December Boys is a beautiful, moving story of adolescence and neglect with the great, wonderful Australian as a backdrop, unraveled in the same vein as Stand By Me. "What's the big deal about their parents anyway?" Maps (Daniel Radcliffe) replica of his summer adventure Lucy (Teresa Palmer). Maps is the oldest of four orphans who are sent on a beach holiday with an old couple. Misty (Lee Cormie) is the youngest and the art of farming. Sparks (Christian Byers) is good with mechanical things, while Spit (James Fraser) is named for what it does best. Have given an idea of what the lives have been orphaned as a whole, has an idea where Maps "trend of thought is. They have survived so far without parents, and have had to call each other family growing up. | They say the best place to start is in the beginning, where the four main characters are introduced, Maps, Misty, Spit and Spark, also known as Boys December. The opening scenes take us to the boys home, an orphanage run by nuns in Australia. Some might say it's a little excitement, so you can imagine their joy when told they were to spend the summer in Ladystar Cove. Based on the edge of a coastal city known for trade fairs and fireworks, the beach provides the perfect setting for an exciting journey that will always remember. The theme of love, romance, family, friendship and play a role in December Boys deal with the idea that one could be adopted by a childless couple living in the creek. However, despite the inclusion of several co-stars, the writing is focused on children who are superbly convincing. The cinematography is beautiful throughout delicious scenic shots and close with companies that captures the wonder of childhood. I guessed that the movie: December Boys was based on 60 years, but no specific time line and the outcome is too modern, and then does nothing to encapsulate the time. However, despite these flaws December Boys contains many of the small joys and touching scenes, voice with good credit and timely leadership, this is a DVD movie December Boys that deserves to be seen. |
