| Liar liar is a fun movie. But it has an annoying cliché, and it would be Jim Carrey. This Liar Liar Fantasy film is about a lawyer (Fletcher), who never tells the truth. In its 5 th birthday of the son, Max (son) has a wish that his father is not for a day. I hope that takes place at 8:15 the same day. Now, with Fletcher telling the truth, there will be confusion in the life of Fletcher. Which is good for the most part. I thought Jim Carrey was doing his annoying slapstick comedy. Some of his scenes were hilarious but especially when your beating himself. The other actors, such as Maura Tierney and Jennifer Tilly has done a good job. I liked the music in this movie. Nothing memorable, but who cares. In general, it is a light fun movie. However, Bruce Almighty must be seen first to see the vintage Jim Carrey. I rate this DVD movie Liar Liar 8 / 10. |
| Liar liar is a solution to the problem of what type of vehicle in motion to write for overacting, rubber man Jim Carrey. Following the success of Ace Ventura, the director Tom Shaydac casts Carrey as a divorced lawyer who has no time for his young son. In the film, the word liar is a pun lawyer, equating the two words as his character is a lawyer lying. Each time you commit to attend one of his son's school events or play with him, Carrey is a pretext for leaving her. His son makes a birthday wish that for just one day his father will tell you the truth and it happens. Carrey is incapable of lying, when it comes to lying, face and body comes in every imaginable contortion as trying to delete the truth. There is literally a "wall of the scene where he hits himself in a bathroom. Carrey is a nice type and carries the film. Of course, you can not believe for a second that is a lawyer, but the belief is not necessary in this movie. This is a DivX Movie Liar Liar with a message that parents should not ignore their children. For a Liar Liar Fantasy aimed at kids, there is a surprising amount of sexual humor and boob. Maura Tierney is very cute as his former wife. Amanda Donohoe plays Carrey's seductive wife and Jennifer Tilly is a buxom, bimbo client. Director Tom Shadyac later worked with Carrey in Bruce Almighty. Liar Liar Jim Carrey is that fans and parents who ignore their children. |
| This is just a nice little movie, nothing more. It would be instantly forgettable if not for Jim Carrey to do what is quite possibly the biggest collection of double-takes ever committed to film. And the scenes where he beats himself that it's worth giving this one a rent. |
