| I have not written many reviews of movies lately, but I felt compelled to talk about this one because it has been a beating in the press. And that imploded at the box office, where people are watching mediocre BUSCA place. It is very unfortunate that people lose in this DVD film Meet Dave was an absolute surprise to me. Based on the trailer, I was expecting the worst. The film, especially in the first half, is a false standard of human behavior. The movie: Meet Dave has much to say about consumer culture, the homogenization of people, racism, etc. through all the elements that owe much to Innerspace, STAR TREK, even CRIMSON TIDE. Eddie gives a magnificent performance and certain elements of his turn as Big Dave is really a tribute to Steve Martin, Buster Keaton, comedians and other antics. A sequence that will hear the greeting of the employees, "Welcome to Old Navy" the same way again. What to get diluted in the final third, which is a real shame. I still think it worth a visit .... although all adults are the most laughter is therefore not entirely appeal to the target audience. I think that is what will make this more of a cult classic with time as people discover that .... at any time to make a film: Meet Dave that is a value on modern society and its values, people seem unaware that, to the Idiocracy. | I am part of those who sailed on IMDb to check the rating of this Meet Dave film and was surprised to see that a score of less than 4 ... Obviously, this will not earn an award from the Academy, but I do not have all the people who gave him a 1 / 10. What we expect from a Meet Dave Comedy movie with this kind of plot? Moreover, the DVD film Meet Dave seemed much more fun than expected! I had "normal" expectations of the movie, thinking that I sat down with a decent time for a couple of hours. Instead I found myself laughing out loud most of the time! Eddie Murphy has proved to be in great shape, just like their facial expressions were enough for the public on fire! The Meet Dave Comedy was also carried out in a smart way, without boring or too obvious. This is highly recommended if you have kids! |
| I was not expecting much from this film, but it had me and my 18 year old son laughing almost every minute. That does not happen too often. Thanks, Eddie! Oops, I see that I need a minimum of ten lines. OK, Gabrielle Union was great. That guy from 30 Rock that always brings baseball caps with the silly slogans on them was in it. Ed Helms was very funny as mutineering 2nd in command. Murphy time as a substitute teacher was hilarious (watching him the write speed of the mathematical equation on the blackboard). Made the best Nathan's Hot Dog eating performance ever. Åre that up to ten lines yet? No need to move forward. It was a fun Meet Dave film that deserves highest scores is obtained, which is why I wanted to send a brief review. Suffice it to say? Gabrielle Union did mention it was great? |
| The trailers do not do this DivX Movie Meet Dave any justice. I saw Hellboy II, Journey to the Center of the Earth and Meet Dave, and believe me "Dave" is the best of three. This DivX film Meet Dave would have fared better if released in February, March and October, with strong competition from other blockbusters. The film: Meet Dave of the hearing some jokes were good, of course, a bit silly, but others were, or just fun. The audience I saw it with enjoyed the DivX Movie Meet Dave and there are plenty of laughs throughout the film. Eddie Mini is much more flexible than Eddie spacecraft. Please tel your friends to go see this before it was snatched from theaters. |
