| Picking up a couple of years when the silence of the lambs left this sequel finds FBI agent Clarice Starling this time played by Julianne Moore in trouble after a massive drug arrest (which was in charge of), ended in a shootout with several deaths. Clarice receives a personal letter from the escapees Dr.Lecter (Anthony Hopkins) who now live in Florence.She learns that killing has begun again and working with Italian police and the FBI is set to take once and for no all.Although as good as Silence of the Lambs this is very rare and well-acted, and there are some magnificent photographs of Italy and a good score as well.Julianne do a good job of reinforcement in the shoes of Jodie Foster as Starling (although I had the film: Hannibal even better if Jodie reprises his role I think) of Starling Julianne is much harder than most of Jodie and she is good in action scenes and gives a fine performance.Hannibal category and is very graphic in comparison with the first Hannibal movie This one shows why Hannibal was locked up in the first place and how terrible their crimes have been and are now.With good support from Gary Oldman as the disfigured Mason Verger, the only known survivor of the attacks of Dr. who hires people to track and kill Lecter. Do not let anyone under 18 years, but this watch, because unlike The Silence of the lambs in this figure are scenes that are so horrible and you realize why it is the nominal value of a 18.Well see and buy on DVD. |

Reference to the medieval barbarity, symbolism, and was alive and well understood - leaving room for reflection on our times and how we live. Conceptualization is well defined. I found it far superior to its predecessor. The Hannibal Thriller has musical quality, is skilled in making lucid scenes and noble. And while the show is responsible for the brutal reality at all. | I just read the lengthy commentary that appears in the main 'Hannibal' page, written by an Australian who liked 'Hannibal' better than 'Silence'. Although his comment was well written, I could not disagree more with him. I have read all of Thomas Harris books, most of them at least twice, and I really love his writing style and the characters he brings to life the 'Lecter' books. There is no doubt that 'Silence' was a better match, is the scene by scene the same as the book. The actors of the characters to the dialogue, is almost identical. Even won the Oscar for best adapted screenplay. "Hannibal", on the other hand, is an atrocity as a movie. Degradation of Julianne Moore as Starling, changes and glaring omissions of history, is a pretty sad thing that the film: Hannibal hidden within this book was never discovered by Ridley Scott and crew. Even Gary Oldman could not save this. I will spare the details of the numerous errors of trial who "adapted" this book, and to convey my frustration with a single example of the muscle determined Verger lesbian sister does not even exist in the movie! Was an important player in history, from an awkward sex scene with Barney that killed VERGER ... and just as completely omitted? I will not begin to end the slaughter. This is Hollywood, I guess. |
