| Hong Kong crime films often fall apart when you choose the story of a little mechanical. But the choice of characters to be blackmailed or dumb courses of action to move the plot forward and create a fight seems more tolerable in the rapid, almost improvised the atmosphere of Hong Kong actioners. Hollywood movies spend so much time in development and do so carefully at the technical level, however, that the slick professional final product may not contain the same ease huge lapses in logic and sentence for alleged "professional" underworld characters. I will not detail here the idiocies to avoid spoilers, but they were frequent enough that I almost hitting my head on the seat in front of me (empty, like most of the cinemas). Mechanically inept history aside, the few numbers action piece almost worth the ticket price. Jet Li's fights are good, and the opening vault job is fascinating. The climatic confrontation, although it was disappointing, especially for fans of Kelly Hu. American moviedom the best female fights have not been as incidental here. I wanted to like this movie, but I did not. I gave him a four. |
| What could have been a reasonably acceptable vehicle for Jet Li action became completely annoying, thanks to the obligatory (and ridiculously lame) the inclusion of what I call the Hollywood fascination with "family values" and "kiddie Cuteness." R-rated action picture is not a place for cutesy, brats resources and there is nothing more boring that straddle an action hero with a family or family members at risk. Everything smells of the middle class and the political correctness DMX an unnecessary annoyance. Real villains who have made short work of the girl's ears and obtained some support from a rapper that much sooner. This is a pathetically wimpy, even with Jet fighting against the last child, there is no nudity free is unforgivable, especially when it prepares the audience for some! |
| One of the worst movies I've seen in a long time. The director, writers and "stars" need to see some good action movies to see how to do ( "Die Hard" or "Under Siege" could be a good place to start). The story is so lame, the characters so that one dimension, and acting so pathetic (HOW DMX continue to work? Is wooden and about as uncharismatic as stir stick), just anything or anyone to attention in this film. And to top it off, Jet Li, a true call the Cradle 2 the Grave Drama film has to offer, is totally wasted. Hokey editing their fighting skills do seem to Power Rangers. One comment we heard at the exit of the theater very well says it all: "How can the film: Cradle 2 the Grave EVER made?" |
| 1) The President of Kitchen Stadium for Iron Chef America is evil! 2) Black diamonds are priceless, but do not want to use because they tend to fly. 3) DMX has no formal training in the martial arts can still hit people with black belts. 3) Jet Li Johnny Cash because he likes fighting major battles only when it is surrounded by a ring of fire (See Romeo must die and Kiss of the Dragon). 4) Kung Fu is more powerful then the ultimate battle. 5) DMX: Loving father and murderer by night thief diamonds per day. Go figure. 6) Tom Arnold is really as stupid and talentless as you think. 7) black fat types can make it big in prison |
| Well ... My 2 cents. This DivX Movie Cradle 2 the Grave is exactly what I thought it was. Martial Arts other movie. Questionable action, cheesy diolauge, flying things, kind of stereo, incredible stunts, the whole 9 yards. If something more or less, I have been severely dissappointed. DMX ... although you should stick to rapping ... was not as bad as I expected it to be. Jet Li Jet Li .... Martial Artest was excellent, the great silence of type short. Arnie and Anthony did what they do and lighten the mood. The girls are hot. Marcos ... Mark and had the potential to be excellent, but through no fault of their own not go too well at this. He is an excellent martial artist and I would have liked to see him get to showcase their skills much more than left. So those of you who are looking at this Cradle 2 the Grave film as if any Cradle 2 the Grave movie student looking for a DivX film Cradle 2 the Grave critic ... a masterpiece of life and a different movie. 7 out 10 |
