| Hi, this is a fairly decent-dunnit Slasher / mystery that takes place in an old theater at the end of a pier in a seaside town in England. Some young players get an invitation to enter into making a work supposed to go on the road and then play in London, but soon it was clear that someone has no intention at all. Creepy and atmospheric, but some scenes are almost too dark to do what is taking place. Jumps a little and at the end really leaves you thinking, but overall it is decent and I enjoyed it. This is quite typical of early 70's type stuff, but the British always have a form of execution in place and what really creepy and makes a good job of it. Not really the meat / carnality fest promises but the box is pretty darn good, though. |
| This is not a great movie, but I liked more than the other 2 Pete Walker films I've seen (Frightmare, House of Whipcord). If you are familiar with Pete Walker in all that we more or less know what to expect. If this is not a movie: Flesh and Blood Show, The to start. It has the exploitation of the basic elements, but is not as explicit as the continental European Flesh and Blood Show, The Horror film of the same type from this era. For a British DVD movie Flesh and Blood Show, The that has a bit of nudity. There is much that all the blood, despite the implication of the title. A decent film: Flesh and Blood Show, The of this type, but not one of the best. |
