| I regret to say that I have seen this film: Flawless for the first time today. You know that behind the light is 20/20. I remember when the previews were for the Flawless Crime film and thought it really looks like a great movie. It was an incredible movie. De Niro is outstanding as the hero with a homophobic former policeman speech impediment due to a stroke. Hoffman is wonderful as the singing transvestite. The chemistry between the characters is real and sincere life. When they come together, we see that their lives are not so different than all. Both are overcoming some of the same trials and tribulations just over different things. Develop an incredible bond that will help them in difficult times. Beautiful flawless film. |
| Despite criticism of Robert De Niro of recent films, seems to have once again shown himself (if proof was needed) to become one of the best actors alive today. If not the best, indeed. Showing many of the qualities evident in the act of sleep, De Niro manages the role to perfection Walt paralyzed. Emotional, funny and very tragic at the same time it is a superior film: Flawless and should not be ignored! |
| Oh my god is the great Flawless film or what. I saw the trailer for this Flawless film like a week ago and I went out and hired him and see him before I thought this Flawless film would be fine but then I saw and I was astonished by the magnitude of this great Flawless Crime actor is.The Robert Denoro is great in this film, but actor Philip Seymouor Hoffman steals the show in this Flawless Crime film playing a transvestite named Rusty Zimmerman and acted so well in this movie.At times was when I was watching this Flawless Crime film I do not feel like i was watching a DVD movie Flawless in all I felt like I was there in this great movie. Throughout this Flawless Crime movie was a very fun Flawless Crime movie to watch and I recommend you watch this great movie.And or my rating for this Flawless movie is 8 out of 10. |
| This Flawless movie is about a bunch of strange characters who live in and around a summary of the hotel in the city of New York. Many of them are "drag queens" and having their annual contest for the "Flawless" female impersonator, thus the name of the movie. Walt (Robert De Niro) is a retired decorated police officer who has a mild stroke while responding to a disturbance at the hotel. As therapy is recommended to take singing lessons from Rusty (Philip Seymour Hoffman). Their relationship as antagonistic neighbors going about mutial by the end of the film. Crooks and money involved, and Rusty wants to have enough money for their operations and drug therapy to be a real woman who is within him. Some of the films is funny, some of them too "above" with the drag queens. Moves slowly in places, in others, are both good and bad shot and killed. Although I liked the visual experience for its novelty, probably I would not recommend it to friends. I give it a rating of 7 on the good performance of De Niro and magnificent performance of Hoffman, as the drag queen. We saw it in "Almost Famous", more recently, "Magnolia" and "Talented Mr. Ripley" and he is undoubtedly one of the best actors working today. I saw the DVD and, while good, is nothing extraordinary. And, no extras, which is disappointing. I am sure at least some scenes could have eliminated a lot of fun. |
| Impeccable is a Flawless Crime that is about two fantastic performances by leading men, not so much about the story or the plot itself. The Flawless movie is about a homophobic former policeman who suffers a stroke while trying to save a girl who becomes a friend of his neighbor gay transvestite, during a tour with some of the drug traffickers. His doctor said the best way to improve your speech is to start singing lessons. It plucks up the courage to ask his neighbor to teach him to sing. This Flawless film is about growing the relationship between these two very different people and how they both work together to overcome their problems very differently. De Niro is back to his best after a few movies and quite half the performance of Phillip Seymour Hoffman is simply exceptional. Hoffman've seen in other films like Boogie Nights and Magnolia and was impressed then, but this is his best so far. I love this Flawless movie and I believe you. Do not miss this. |
