| What made this 3:10 to Yuma movie was the great performances of the cast. Especially the main actors: Russell Crowe and Christian Bale. Leading a cast of good actors in this "old style" western movie. I say it is "old style" because it has that feeling that was only created by the classic westerns like "Rio Bravo" starring John Wayne and Dean Martin. In 3:10 to Yuma, a notorious criminal by the name of Ben Wade (Crowe) is captured by local rancher Dan Evans (Bale) and the story unfolds in a western adventure travel Evans to be taken to the 3 10 Wade to the prison in Yuma. Crowe is great in his role as Wade. He plays this character to perfection. This DVD film 3:10 to Yuma is excellent and is powered by the extraordinary performance of the smelter, and also for the great work of the crew to make a great western scenery. |
| Anyone really hates West Hollywood, or this film: 3:10 to Yuma was too good for them. How else to explain completely ignored this 3:10 to Yuma movie performances (Crowe, Bale, Fonda, Foster), history, photography direction and Academy Award nominations? Forget "Unforgiven" and "Dances With Wolves." This is the best Western to come into the last period of twenty years ...! Mangold and company have not only improved on the original, was made as large and, unfortunately, did the original date and it seems irrelevant. This re-imagination of "3:10 to Yuma" is really a classic, hit all the clichés of the western past, but adding their own modern twists and providing a moral weight that I have not seen in years. It is a 'soft' R movie. Relatively mild and infrequent profanity and graphic but not gratuitous violence. This is really a bargain in any video store, and did not do so well in theaters, and therefore lower prices than most of Hollywood is garbage. Do not miss this film! |
| A great action packed western that never seems to lose quality as it progresses. I was pleasantly surprised by this film. I sat on the edge of my seat waiting for what I expected to be a truly Great delivery and final defiantly. By the end I felt I had bought a great DVD film 3:10 to Yuma to be seen again by me. Over the years there have been people who were amazing. As The Joker, Hannibal Lecter and Anton Chigurh. This DivX Movie 3:10 to Yuma had not one but two characters who were amazing. The characters of Ben Wade and Charlie Prince was great and now they're on my list of celebrities. But would not it if it were not for Russell Crowe and Ben Foster. Russell Crowe's role property. He was one of his best performances. Ben Foster, however, is one of the most underrated players ever. Has had great performances in every movie: 3:10 to Yuma I've seen of hostages, 30 days of night, 3:10 to Yuma, X-men 3. Christian Bale has done a good performance, but it was nothing unusual. Lo recomiendo. It's everything you could want in a movie, but there is more talking then there has to be. 9 / 10 |
