Well I can understand that the Wishmaster 3: Beyond the Gates of Hell movie is different from the first 2 is a bit disappointing, but I would also like to point out a few things .... First he says that Djin is the same as in the first 2? No more than one Djin in history? I came to this conclusion when he left this jewel of a box that goes back to the Persian Empire ... If you can not get to play Andrew Divoff the Djin again that this is a good way to get around that ... Ok now for the attack ... Campy very 80's style ... the DivX film Wishmaster 3: Beyond the Gates of Hell shows a lot of boobs that the first 2 did nothing. Bad acting by all stakeholders in the film, and there is no affective bond that unites the characters. Only problem I have with the different Djins .... where is the investigation of the legends of how each person can only get to the legend of the Djin who are struggling. I just looked at the conference that gave the Djins and the Trojan war and I am happy with the way it is mentioned more than one which proves my point it is not the orginals Djin. So in conclusion, bad acting ... ... history is not too bad. |
Once again The Wishmaster returns but not this time Andrew Divoff. Instead of being replaced by John Novak is just terrible on paper. He comes across as a fat idiot in makeup. The Djin was the human form played by Jason Connery, which is not bad but it lacks the charm and wickedness of Andrew Divoff. The special effects are a notch better than those found in Part 2, but are nowhere near as good as the first film. Another problem with this movie: Wishmaster 3: Beyond the Gates of Hell is the writing. The dialogue is just terrible. All things considered this is a very poor sequel. Not recommended! |
I have not seen the first two WISHMASTERS - apparently enough to play the traditional notion of "supernatural desire to take an unexpected turn" type of thing. It's essentially a moral tale. Here, however, wishes are fairly pro forma, as are the unpleasant twists: just an excuse to show a lot of blood. Not a bad amount of blood in which the director makes use of its budget. The plot is obvious, the solution to the problem is quite easy to spot from the beginning. The characters are all annoying crybabies, especially men. Too many false alarms. The Wishmaster deliberately ill becomes the son of Sean Connery at some point during the procedure, it is usually not a good idea as Jason Connery looks like a college professor premature baldness is not a demon from hell. There is some nudity, but what is good. Generally not worth paying a lot, but if you feel that a couple of dollars, the way that I can be entertained by it. |
