| Ah yes the French foreign legion, which each student with a sense of adventure has been designed to join, and some films have spent much of the film. Jean Claude Van Damme made a previous DivX film Legionnaire set against the background of the legion: Awol (Aka Lionheart), but this is much higher. | This is the least typical Van Damme Legionnaire Adventure movie - and its most absolute. Actually, if you come to this Legionnaire Adventure movie expecting a typical Van Damme movie, please go see Double Impact or hard target again. Based on a real incident during the 1925 Morocco (and most of us did not even know there was such a campaign), and very suggestive of the many versions of Beau Geste that women have cried over the DVD film Legionnaire houses for decades, This is a story about the French Foreign Legion. Viewers should be advised that the motto of the Legion at this time was "March or die!" The only thing that kept these men from killing one another is that the Berbers were much better at killing them. The movie: Legionnaire has a structure that is epic. The photograph did not match, but it is rock solid. The actors are all very capable. Clichés make the DivX film Legionnaire through the drift, but it makes the final battle for most of these. And, oh, yes, Van Damme can act. Pretty good, if not let it get in the head. |
| Most of Jean Claude Van Damm movies consist of a martial arts of which he must overcome great odds of winning (Lion Heart, Kickboxer, etc.). This DivX Movie Legionnaire has only one hand to hand fight scene at the beginning, and the rest is a DVD film Legionnaire about the French Foreign Legion. A must see for fans of military history as it is actually quite accurate to the times. |
| A different style Van Damme movie, or kick without using any fancy martial arts moves. JCVD plays a legionnaire in this, as in 'the Lionheart. "He has a boxing match in this film, in the beginning. Well managed and good story line. It is a good Van Damme Legionnaire movie that is very pleasant. Recommended for all. |
| The DivX Movie Legionnaire never stops with the action! Great plot, acting. This Legionnaire Adventure is a potential for the full story, but Van Damme is known for its aftermath. It is a pity that this Legionnaire movie was never given the opportunity in the box offices in the U.S. |
