| Kaena is a fun ride through the beautiful fantasy cgi animation The Kaena: The Prophecy Family film takes place on a planet (or should i say plant) called Axis. The people live their lives shaft according to the "gods". The movie: Kaena: The Prophecy revolves around a teenager named Kaena pariah. Kaena is an explorer and a dreamer who believes that there are more things off the ground in small Hub. As the world's resources begin to drain out, the gods Angri and more demanding. Kaena, doubting the existence of the gods, is sent immediately. On his journey, looking for answers to your dreams. Maybe there is life out there in the "great forgetting" ... I'm really not sure why this movie: Kaena: The Prophecy received such bad reviews. It may not be the most complex story in the world, but still enough to capture the interest of the spectator. It also has surprisingly good voice acting by Kirsten Dunst (Kaena that voices) and the late Richard Harissa. Greg Proops even a comedy worthy performance as a worm. Not to mention, the animation is spectacular, especially the landscape. In general, I liked this movie. | I was fascinated by the story, the characters and the CGI was well done, but lost 2 points to be a 10 because, although very, very good, the CGI is very brown and had a muted sepia-like quality to it, Further, much of the action is largely shaded places. This made some of the scenes very difficult to do, and where there was swift action on the screen, turned into a muddy blur. Add to this the fluid quality of the scenes a lot and a kind of HR Giger aspect of the sap of foreigners, and you have some scenes that due to the difficulty, to distract the most enjoyment for all. Which tend to dwell on the previous scene, trying to understand what you just see and hear, and lose some of these measures. I thought the voice acting was superb. The great Richard Harris, in one of his last roles was great as usual. Kirsten Dunst was very good too, and adds a great deal of energy to function. Worms and other "comedy relief" characters were good. Especially an intriguing fantasy, above average voice acting and graphics very well done, although sometimes sporadic. I would have preferred a little more light and perhaps a touch of color on occasion. Worth seeing in any direction. |
