| I sat down to watch this show, hoping for good entertainment. I was very disappointed. The design elements of the sample are paper thin. The costumes are all pristine, the boats appear to be only of the yard and I have the cleanest pirate I've ever seen. Very poor. I was expecting something of the direction, but unfortunately this has been fired as an episode of Dallas. I am terrified how much money has been wasted on this when there are great scripts waiting to be made for a fraction of the cost. A clear attempt to hang on the coat tails of Pirates of the Caribbean and to collect the remains, but not yet in this attempt. |
| This part two, which is destined to be the history of letters is an absolute stink. The plot is paper thin, the screenplay is awful, density wooden acting, it is historically inaccurate, even the vessels seem to be ill at the time. Richard Chamberlain (God help you) tries to act, but fails miserably, the accents of the pirate crew veer comically "Van Dykian English" to New York through Devon and all the intermediate stops. It's bad that was not even funny, I have never seen a worse piece of "entertainment" - and I've seen a few. I suspect that the Director has a bright future as a traffic police. Prevent scurvy. Unless forced to walk the plank. |
| I loved acting, set design and the overall effect and in an attempt FICTION funny DVD film Blackbeard pirates. This was not a Blackbeard movie about the real Blackbeard, however - despite supposedly talks about her encounter with Robert Maynard. There were some redeeming qualities, but two scenes seemed totally out of place - of which was a scene to rescue the city where the shades of Errol Flynn appeared. The other was the end. While the DivX Movie Blackbeard is entertaining at home, the historic value leaves much to be desired as the location of the story for the end is totally inaccurate. All historical accounts of the demise of piracy and the ship to discuss the location as on the coast of North Carolina - hailed as a very last of the infamous pirate - not in the Bahamas. |
