| I am over 60 years, I am from England, do not usually like modern action movies with much violence and I have absolutely no part of the game "Max Payne" computer game - which should have hated 'Max Payne' movie, huh ? Well NO! I saw a beautiful, vibrant screen with surround sound, along with five others on the viewers (which was the noon show at a Cineplex in Chiang Mai, Thailand) and I left feeling that was further entertained by a DVD movie MAX Payne that at any time prior to this year. Although not an avid player of computer games, he had persevered with the game like Max Payne thought the graphics were the best he had ever seen in a game, and the bits that I did through managing for progress are very effective. The film, though obviously not exactly copy the graphics are more beautiful than I had dared hoped stylized. The only comparable thing I have seen the MAX Payne Action would be 'Sin City'. Mark Wahlberg was excellent in his role and the fine cast, including Beau Bridges. The story does not really matter much to me, it had resonance, rhythm and was well without flat spots - and took me along to its climax, finally, leaving the track with a sequel. On the way home from the movies that appeared in a shop and bought new copies of "Max Payne" and "The Fall of Max Payne, 'need I say more! |
| I played this game only once, many years ago, so could not say how this movie: MAX Payne is different from the game, but I know that many fans of the game were disappointed by this movie. Could still prosecute as an action movie. All the action sequences, but had to leave them a little. If you would like to make a MAX Payne Action movie based on games of action, not just trying to maintain a gaming environment, I would put as much as possible in the same action. The argument was so often used in other action films that gave me a headache. Altought there is some originality in it, like the Viking thing. The DivX film MAX Payne is well directed and there are some beautiful images, so it is not watchable. So if you're looking for a good action movie, this would not be the best option, although there is some good action sequences. |
| I am totally surprised by the negative comments made by some of the fans. Those who really make the question "What made this movie, even in the game?" What kind of stupid question is that? Obviously have, do you think all the similarities with the game are just a coincidence? I swear some fans let their fanboyism blind from what is right in front of them. You can play a drinking game with this film, every time you see something from the game to take a picture. I guarantee you will be completely lost by the time the MAX Payne Action movie has ended, which is how close the DivX film MAX Payne is the game. I'm beginning to think some fans of video games will never be happy unless the MAX Payne film is just like your game, step by step and word by word. Yes, the story changed a bit and not add a few things in the game but so what? It's not like that fit all aspects of 8 hours of game film. This MAX Payne Action may not be exactly like the game but is very close. I would say that this DVD film MAX Payne has about 75% of the elements of the game and considering how most video game movies turn, which is saying something. The fans should be grateful the way this DivX film MAX Payne turned out. As a movie, is good. Cop story mixed with style. It has great action and great scenery. I recommend this DivX film MAX Payne for everyone. |
