Having retiring from the CIA, where he was an anti-terrorist operative, Jack Paul Quinn spends his days poolside at his house in Nice, France with his pregnant wife Katherine Rose Quinn. But international terrorist Stavros, an old enemy of Quinn's, has resurfaced, and the CIA wants Quinn to come out of retirement, and go after Stavros. Quinn reluctantly accepts the assignment. Quinn goes to Antwerp, Belgium and hooks up with flamboyant arms dealer Yaz, who has the newest fully-automatic weapons. With Quinn's assembled delta-force, an ambush is set for Stavros at a local amusement park. Stavros arrives, and greets his girlfriend...and his son. Quinn finds himself unable to shoot Stavros with his son. This moment of hesitation is costly, and Quinn's entire team is killed off in a shoot-out with Stavros' men -- a shoot-out in which Stavros's son and girlfriend are both killed. Quinn chases Stavros into a nearby hospital, and they battle it out in a nursery full of newborn babies. Quinn is knocked out cold, and Stavros escapes, vowing revenge on Quinn for the deaths of his son and girlfriend, not knowing that Quinn was not the agent who killed them. When Quinn comes to, he finds himself in 'The Colony,' a place where 'those who are too valuable to kill and too dangerous to set free' use their special skills around the world as 'the last line of defense against global terrorism.' Using virtual reality and mouseless-graphical-user-interfaces, they solve all the world's bombings, hijackings, and terrorist attacks. The only problem is that no one can ever leave The Colony. That's why Quinn's superiors tell Katherine that Quinn is dead. Not long after his arrival, Quinn finds evidence that Katherine is being targeted by Stavros, and so Quinn hatches an elaborate plan to escape from the Colony so he can protect Katherine. Once out of The Colony, Quinn hooks up with Yaz, and they learn that Stavros has kidnapped Katherine and taken her to Rome, planning to get revenge on Quinn through the baby, which Katherine has given birth to. Quinn and Yaz set out for Rome to rescue Katherine. It all comes to a head in a Roman coliseum in a showdown featuring a tiger, land mines...and the baby.

Forget the critics and the most terrible risk and no place to run, double team ranks alongside Street Fighter and Blood Sport as one of Van Damme movies.Mickey enjoyable Rourke is a villain and tasty, if you do not is waiting for the next Robert Duvall, Dennis Rodman basketball in favor of the labels along the duration.One the best, most films of the 98 unseen.

This Double Team Action movie for me is one of the oddest team of all time. Jean-Claude Van Damme and Dennis Rodman. I thought this Double Team Action would be a bomb. No! It is very entertaining. Jean-Claude Van Damme plays a former CIA agent who must find a murderer who has his wife and unborn child. Dennis Rodman, who was suspended from the Chicago Bulls get their acting chops together playing Yaz, a flamboyant arms dealer. Took X-rays of Jack Quinn (Van Damme) unborn child, known as Yaz something that will not be tolerated. He helps all the way to Quinn. In the fight scene, Yaz can hold its own in the martial arts. Then suddenly a villain dunks on a bus. Saying: "Does that make this a 5 pointer?" All these years in basketball, you can score your own tactics. Starve (Mickey Rourke), is cruel and cold-blooded. Having killed his son, who wants to do the same Quinn. Thanks to the work of Yaz, made his last step starve against Quinn. His revenge is not going as planned, as saying. My holy mother of god what a bad movie. I do not mean bad as MST3K movies were bad. I mean bad as you imagine that Hitler was bad. Mad bad and stupid, probably the result of a parent contracting syphilis. In fact I'm sure a lot of syphilis and no contract to do the strike, suffer through this "movie" again. Have you ever seen an act of cruelty so thoughtless and meaningless that you wonder how anyone ever let this happen? I think that double team fall into this category. Trying to remember this Double Team Action is giving a migraine. Please, please do not view this movie. If it is to burn your TV to your television and say a prayer that you will never be the subject of this movie. is not as bad as Hudson Hawk

Double team is the third movie: Double Team that Van Damme has done an ex-HONG KONG-action DVD movie Double Team director. He has made "hard target" to John Woo and "Maximum Risk" by Ringo Lam. Double team is directed by Tsui Hark splendid place. Hark is excellent in directing the action scenes and Double Team is a good way for him to start in Hollywood. Van Damme plays agent Jack Quinn, and sent to kill super-terrorist Stavros, who is played by Mickey Rourke. Quinn does not, and therefore sent sent to a place called "The Colony". "The Colony" is a place where the world's most dangerous terrorists and agents are sent. These agents and the terrorists are too dangerous to freedom on the streets and too valuable to kill. Quinn escapes and goes after the colony Stavros revenge. Quinn is the help of Yaz, who is played by Dennis Rodmann basket stars. Double team is full of action and well-done martial arts scenes. However, `s far from perfect. The whole plot is very silly, there are huge gaps and holes in the logic of history and Mickey Rourke is far from convincing as a villain. Double team isn `ta Double Team Action film for everyone. `S but it's worth renting for an action fan. Has this Double Team Action movie 7 out of 10.
