| Watched for the first time last night and was quite disappointed (it was a triple bill with BHC Bravo 1 and 2, great way to ring in the New Year!). Not too fun, the villains are very weak, which is strange as John Saxon is generally very good as bad, and Tim Carhart was great as Eddie Willows in CSI. It seemed very forced at times and definitely lacks the Foley-Rosewood-Taggart chemistry that made the first two films so successful. Hector Elizondo is the replacement of John Ashton. Bronson Pinchot returns as Serge was painful to watch. 5 of 10, based more on the Eddie Murphy action than anything else. |
| Eddie Murphy as the third out of Detroit police detective Axel Foley, who seems to have more of a contribution to the fight against crime in Beverly Hills still generates some power in the series, but the first two films are the best, of course. The movie: Beverly Hills Cop III inexplicably removes John Taggart (John Ashton) and Andrew Bogomil (Ronny Cox) characters from the series and adds a new character called shallow John Flint (Hector Elizondo). Fortunately, Billy Rosewood (Judge Reinhold) and remains around it still provides a perfect foil for Foley. Foley the third case in Beverly Hills is a bit unlikely, but the action scenes to help cope with the plot that has to do with ingenuity Foley matching with a corrupt security chief (Timothy Carhart) in Beverly Hills, a popular amusement park known as Wonderworld (a creation of Paramount). The park costumes and character designs are nice and colorful, and Theresa Randle helps pick things up as a potential love interest for Foley, but the DVD movie Beverly Hills Cop III does not give Murphy and fun that many lines is a disappointment, if you want to label this DVD movie Beverly Hills Cop III as a comedy. The action is great, but as usual, Murphy is recognized as a star of comedy and prevent this lack of laughs here to be a perfect number. However, it is a very good series. |
| How Landis, Lucas, Murphy, and even lend themselves to this debacle is beyond me. Might not have been so bad if the implausibilities not make a lot out of the first film, which I thought was very good. The armed rescue of a Ferris wheel? Come on! Nobody has that kind of strength. And how to escape from the burning of one's hand on the rope? How come all the bad guys who are supposedly the best security company in California, could not hit the side of a barn with Axel and Co. uzis still hit almost dead with all their shots? How Axel produce counterfeit money with his picture on it in 10 seconds? Why the security guards gave so much trouble when Axel tried to enter the park, even when he enters the corporate center, which is free? The list goes on and on. Now, I know what you are saying. "It's a movie!" "It's not supposed to be real." But you see, the first episode of the series was quite plausible, and, instead, made the third Beverly Hills Cop III Crime is highly suspect and therefore subject to ridicule. Suffice it to say, we will not be watching BHC IV in the near future. Thank God! |
| I've only been on this website for a few days, and this is only the second review I've done. So why choose this film: Beverly Hills Cop III and not to review the most natural? Because this Beverly Hills Cop III Crime movie stands out as one of, if not the worst Beverly Hills Cop III Crime film I have ever seen. I loved the first DVD movie Beverly Hills Cop III - Eddie Murphy was excellent. The second DivX film Beverly Hills Cop III is more entertaining than funny - but it was still good and the characters were strong. That is what made this DivX Movie Beverly Hills Cop III so disappointing. The pieces were in place. John Landis returned. What he did was a DivX Movie Beverly Hills Cop III so horribly unfunny that five years after launch, still used as a measuring stick for the DivX film Beverly Hills Cop III pointless. I may have seen worse movies in my life. But after Beverly Hills Cop III, I can not remember. |
| You would think that anyone could make the hilarious Amazon Women on the Moon would be a good director. Sorry, Mr. Landis, but he blew it in this case. Maybe it was just a sequel, but fell below the previous two and it is something to see if there is absolutely nothing else on television. Only Billy Rosewood (Judge Reinhold) and the Inspector Todd (Gilbert R. Hill) are back with Axel Foley in the latter. Billy is great with Axel, but this DivX Movie Beverly Hills Cop III simply is not the action of the other two. Theresa Randle down the eye candy. |
| ... or should be better. Eddie is back for the third time. This time in the nineties. Is it still the same as in the classic 80. Unfortunately, no. Where is the problem. Eddie is funny as the former two parts, but everything else is changed. The story is missing a lot of laughter and in some places appeared to be for children. Well, I could go on and on, but why bother to read the criticisms before mine and see what I mean. Overall, one third still provides some entertainment, but unfortunately that does not satisfy the fans of this series. 5 10. |
